Kids equestrian camp Kelowna.
The Kelowna Recreation services equestrian camp (for kids ages 8 - 14 years) has been operated by British Horse Society accredited riding instructor Fiona Griffiths at her Trapalanda Farms establishment for over 20 years.Every summer, in July and August, several sessions of each level of the kids equestrian camps are offered:
Equestrian camps are designed for kids with a more serious intent in learning to ride horses. Through hands-on training and classroom discussions, participants will be introduced to basic care and handling of horses, feeding, saddling and grooming. Horse riding lessons instructor Fiona Griffiths incorporates strict rules and guidelines to ensure the safety of all participants. Included are short daily horseback riding lessons for each child.Equestrian Camp for kids - Level 1
A continuation of the Level 1 experience. Children must have attended the Level 1 camp before participating in this program (or possess equivalent equestrian experience!). More advanced lessons in horse care and handling, along with short daily horseback riding lessons for kids are part of the level 2 equestrian camp program.Children's Equestrian Camp - Level 2
